Our origins and connection to the Šumava region and its dairy history are a commitment for us. We are not backed by multinational giants, but are a purely Czech company. This makes us behave even more responsibly and honestly towards our surroundings.
We are at home in Šumava, but you can find our processed cheeses throughout the Czech Republic.



One of our company's main long-term goals is to offer customers high-quality processed cheese at an affordable price. We pay great attention to the selection of raw materials, recipes, and production processes. The growing popularity of our products and the fact that more and more consumers buy our cheeses every year confirm that we are doing well and succeeding.

Careful processing of raw materials
Good processed cheese can only be made from high-quality ingredients. To preserve as many nutrients as possible, we process them as gently as possible. That is why our processed cheeses must be kept refrigerated at all times and have a shorter shelf life. But we believe you will appreciate this.
Our awards and standards



Czech guild standard
The Czech guild standard sets quality parameters for most foods. This gives customers the assurance that they are getting products with a guarantee of above-standard quality. In accordance with the Czech guild standard, we produce Hit 135 g processed cheese and Delicato 150 g processed cheese from our processed cheeses.
Klasa brand
It designates exceptionally high-quality domestic products compared to other foods. It helps you choose foods with high-quality ingredients. Since 2018, Delicato has been proud to carry the Klasa national quality label among our cheeses.
Czech Delicacy
The "Česká Chuťovka" label is awarded by a committee of independent experts. The award-winning product must be of Czech origin and meet excellent taste parameters. High quality is a prerequisite.
Where to buy our processed cheeses
You can find our products in retail chains throughout the Czech Republic, primarily in Kaufland, Billa, Albert, Penny, Coop, Hruška, and Tesco stores, as well as in the JIP retail and wholesale chain and at your regional retailers. Among our wholesale partners, you can find our products at Makro and Accom. You can purchase our products online from iTesco or Košík.
Modern developments in society
After the Velvet Revolution, TANY, spol. s r.o. was founded in 1990. Thanks to a successful privatization project, it was able to purchase the former smelting plant from the state and thus restore the original production program of processed cheese in the Šumava region. However, in connection with the Czech Republic's accession to the European Union, it was necessary to completely modernize the entire plant, complete its construction, and adapt production to the strict legislative requirements imposed by the European Union on food production.
Today, the TANY cheese melting plant in Nýrsko is a modern food processing facility that meets the strictest criteria for safe food production. Since joining the EU, production here has increased by more than 30% and continues to grow year on year, confirming not only the growing consumer interest in TANY products, but also the company's successful management.

Since 2022, we have become part of
the Czech investment group Adax Invest.
Company history
Establishment of a cheese factory
The dairy industry in Nýrsko has a tradition dating back more than ninety years. The former Dairy Cooperative in Nýrsko was founded in 1936, but originally the plant was a general dairy processing facility. Processed cheese began to be produced here only during World War II. At that time, the factory was already in territory occupied by Germany and was thus under German administration..
Post-war period
It was only after World War II and subsequent nationalization that the plant was incorporated into a dairy complex based in Klatovy (since 1960 Západočeské mlékárny, n.p.) and specialized exclusively in the production of processed cheese. However, production in Nýrsko was discontinued in the second half of the 1980s because it was transferred to the newly built "dairy complex" in Klatovy. The Nýrsko cheese factory thus began to fall into disrepair until it was privatized in the early 1990s and the production of processed cheese was resumed there.
